Ukrainian weightlifter Konotop becomes absolute European champion for the fourth time

The Ukrainian athlete won three gold medals in the 58 kg weight category at the competitions in Batumi. Kamila showed the best result in snatch, clean and jerk, and total.

Weightlifter Kamila Konotop achieved a golden hat-trick at the European Championship. This was reported by the NOC of Ukraine, writes UNN.

From April 19-26, Batumi, Georgia, is hosting the European Weightlifting Championship. 14 Ukrainians are also participating in the competition.

The winner of the competition in the up to 58 kg weight category was Kamila Konotop, a participant in the 2020 and 2024 Olympic Games. The Ukrainian had no equal in the snatch, the clean and jerk, or in the total of the two lifts. With a result of 100+121=221 kg, the Ukrainian left no chances for her closest rivals

The NOC of Ukraine noted that this is the fourth time Kamila has become the absolute European champion after similar golden successes in 2021, 2023, and 2024.
