Ukrainian embassies in different countries held ceremonies to raise the national flag. Diplomats emphasized the importance of the blue and yellow flag as a symbol of unity and invincibility of the Ukrainian people. This was reported by UNN.
In particular, the diplomats of the Ukrainian Embassy in Belarus raised the national flag to the sound of the Ukrainian anthem.
"Today, the flag is with our military on their shoulder chevrons, in their backpacks and at their positions. They carefully sign it with their call signs as a memento. It flies over the free and liberated cities of Ukraine," the embassy said in a statement.
The solemn ceremony of raising our national flag was also held at the Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan
"The national flag of Ukraine is a symbol of our independence and sovereignty, which reminds us of the unbreakable unity and unquenchable strength of the Ukrainian people. The yellow and blue flag breathes the history of our heroes, struggles and victories. On this day, we feel how our traditions, culture and patriotism unite us even thousands of kilometers away from our native land. We are grateful to everyone who supports us and stands side by side at this important moment," the embassy said.
On National Flag Day, the Ukrainian Embassy in Korea stated that "in times of confrontation with Russian aggression, we believe in our victory and remember that our strength is in unity.
The blue and yellow flag unites the nation in resilience and hope, the Ukrainian Embassy in Thailand said.
"In the face of the Russian invasion, this flag has become a symbol of the strength and determination of a people who stand firm in their fight for independence. The Ukrainian flag binds millions together in a common commitment to freedom and justice, reminding us all of the indomitable spirit that defines Ukraine," the embassy said in a statement.
According to the Ukrainian Embassy in Vietnam, "over the past two years, our skies have been darkened by shades of gray and red, tainted by Russian missiles and drones. Our golden fields, a symbol of prosperity, are charred and blackened, covered with scars of devastation from Russian war crimes that threaten not only our homeland, but also the very essence of nature and global food security.
However, the symbols of Ukraine remain unshakable. Ukrainian flags continue to fly proudly around the world, serving as a powerful testament to the resilience and indomitability of our people.
A solemn ceremony of raising the State Flag of Ukraine was also held today at the Embassy of Ukraine in Japan.
