This was announced on Tuesday following a government meeting by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on Telegram, UNN reports.

"We have enough of our own energy resources for the coming winter. The gas reserves in underground storage facilities will be enough for household consumers, for district heating companies, and for budgetary institutions. At the same time, when forming the reserves, we also took into account the needs for the operation of gas plants of decentralized generation," Shmyhal wrote.

And this, he said, "will be the second heating season in a row when we will use only Ukrainian gas.
