During 2022-2023, the Ilnytsky family provided humanitarian and other assistance to the Ukrainian military for more than UAH 14 million. This was reported by Lviv businessman Vasyl Ilnytsky.
Ilnytskyi said that since the first days of the large-scale military aggression, all family members have been involved in volunteer activities and together they try to meet the requests from the defenders as much as possible.
"Our volunteer support began with helping our employees, friends and comrades who were mobilized or volunteered in February, the first days of the war. We searched for and purchased everything they needed to ensure their safety. Later, the military units in which they serve, as well as those located in our region, started asking us for help. We also immediately respond to all requests from our defenders in the East," he said.
He also noted that he provides financial resources for humanitarian support, while his son Rostyslav Ilnytskyi plays a key role in organizing cooperation with volunteer organizations and the military.
"He is responsible for a significant part of the organizational work and logistics for the delivery of humanitarian aid. He actively cooperates with volunteer initiatives and joins their projects. For example, our family became a participant in the well-known "Birds of Victory" project, in which thousands of drones were purchased for the military by entrepreneurs in Lviv region. At the request of the military, Rostyslav has repeatedly selected and purchased drones, off-road vehicles, thermal imagers, and other necessary equipment abroad as a volunteer. In the fall, he arranged and organized the transportation of six vehicles to Ukraine, and they are already performing important tasks at the front, as our military informed us," explained Ilnytsky.
The Ilnytsky family also contributed to the commemoration of the fallen defenders in the Kamianka-Buzka district by providing structures for the installation of memorial steles on the Heroes' Alley.
Rostyslav Ilnytskyi's volunteer assistance was recognized by the command and soldiers of the TOR Volunteer Battalion. The Ilnytsky family received gratitude for their volunteer support from the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade, 21st Separate Mechanized Brigade, 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade, and the NGO Dobro. Diy for helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the Birds of Victory project.
Mr. Ilnytsky also emphasized that he and his family will continue to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces as actively as possible for as long as it takes, as the lives of our soldiers, their safety and morale are important prerequisites for our victory, which we are all waiting for.
