A former police officer involved in the attack on a former military officer and MP Mykola Tyshchenko in Dnipro was sent by the court to round-the-clock house arrest for 2 months.

A court in Kyiv has imposed round-the-clock house arrest on a former police officer who took part in an attack on a former military officer in Dnipro together with MP Mykola Tyshchenko. This was confirmed to Suspilne by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, UNN reports.

Details

The court ordered the ex-prisoner Bohdan Pysarenko not to leave his home around the clock for 2 months. Prosecutors asked the court for detention without bail, so after the court's decision, they filed an appeal.

Earlier, the Kyiv Court of Appeal left MP Mykola Tyshchenko under round-the-clock house arrest. The MP tried to appeal this measure of restraint.

Context

On Thursday, June 20, a video was posted online showing a group of men in the center of Dnipro attacking a Ukrainian soldier who was walking with a baby. Unidentified men wearing balaclavas snatched the child from the man's arms, handcuffed him and began to beat him.

MP Mykola Tyshchenko was also captured on video. On Monday, June 25, he was served a notice of suspicion on the fact of illegal detention of a former serviceman in Dnipro.

By the way, the clash in Dnipro was also commented on by the KRAKEN Special Unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate. It turned out that the victim was a former member of the KRAKEN special unit.
