Two fires caused by short circuits in microwave ovens occurred in residential buildings in Kyiv's Obolon district, but were quickly extinguished without casualties.

The fire was promptly extinguished at 10:06. Another fire was reported at 09:33 a.m. In a 16-storey residential building on Poliarna Street, a microwave caught fire on the fifth floor. The fire was extinguished at 09:56
