By organizing a propaganda event in the temporarily occupied Crimea, Russia is trying to rewrite history and claim victory over Nazism in World War II. This was stated by Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgiy Tikhy during a briefing, reports UNN.
As far as I know, today and tomorrow in the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea there is a so-called International Diplomatic Congress dedicated to the Yalta Peace Conference of 1945, which was organized by the Russian occupiers. We believe that this is a violation of all norms, traditions of international law
He added that by holding this propaganda event, Russia is trying to appropriate the victory over Nazism and nullify the contribution of other civilized states.
This event is an attempt to justify Russia's actions, as well as an attempt by Russia to rewrite history and attribute to itself the victory over Nazism in World War II. In particular, Russia uses the descendants of the participants of the Yalta Conference, inviting them to this event. It wants to consolidate the role of the sole heir of the allied countries, neglecting the contribution to the victory of the rest of the independent states
Tikhy recalled that since 2014, Russia itself has been violating the international security order established by the Yalta Conference. He also stressed that Ukraine and its allies must not allow a repeat division of spheres of influence, as was done at the Yalta Conference in 1945.
It is worth noting that Russia itself has been consistently destroying the global security architecture since 2014, which was created, in particular, in Yalta in 1945. But we also know that during this conference, the leaders agreed on the division of spheres of influence, dividing the map of Europe. Today, Russia obviously strives for the same thing that was at the Yalta Conference, and the task of Ukraine and its allies is to prevent the return of such spheres of influence
Tikhy also added that all citizens of other states who participated in the Russian propaganda event will face legal responsibility.

We understand that in this way they contribute to the occupation and violation of the sovereignty of Ukraine and in this way. Any visits to the occupied territories of Ukraine are a gross violation of Ukrainian legislation and lead to legal responsibility and sanctions
