According to preliminary data, on the night of June 28, seven people broke into the yard of two brothers in the Kyiv region, took them in an unknown direction, and killed them. The bodies, which according to the investigation belong to the victims, have now been exhumed. In addition, it turned out that the commander had left service without authorization, and he is being sought.
Later, the Office of the Prosecutor General confirmed the detention of the former commander of the 155th Brigade, Stanislav Luchanov.
Prior to this, the Operational Command "North" reported on the investigation of events involving military personnel of the 155th Separate Mechanized Brigade, noting that the commander had left service without authorization and was being sought. It was also reported that the commander of the 155th Mechanized Brigade, Stanislav Luchanov, had been suspended from service.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy also confirmed the detention of 10 people, including the former commander of the 155th Brigade, for the murder of two residents of the village of Kalynivka in the Kyiv region.
