In Zaporizhzhia, wind gusts caused tree branches to fall on a residential building, damaging 5 balconies and a window. There were no reports of injuries among the residents of the regional center. This was reported by the State Emergency Service, UNN reports.

It is noted that the State Emergency Service employees made 15 visits to eliminate the consequences of the bad weather in Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia district.
The State Emergency Service reminded of the safety rules during the storm:
- All windows of buildings should be tightly closed, and objects that could fall out should be removed from balconies and loggias;
- on the street, stay away from billboards and power lines as much as possible;
- in case of strong winds, take cover in the nearest room or natural shelter;
- avoid being near large trees and do not park vehicles near them.
