American forces have intensified naval blockade measures against Iran, disabling an empty oil tanker that was heading to an Iranian port in the Persian Gulf. This is reported by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), informs UNN.

It is noted that CENTCOM forces monitored the maritime vessel Belma, flying the flag of Curaçao, which was traveling through international waters to Kharg Island.

The commercial vessel ignored numerous warnings, attempting to violate the U.S. blockade. An American aircraft disabled the vessel after launching Hellfire missiles into the ship's smokestack. The vessel is no longer transiting to Iran

Later, CENTCOM stated that the U.S. attacked command centers, air defense systems, and missile facilities of Iran. Coastal observation sites also came under attack — in particular, in Bandar Abbas.
