The monitoring group of the Ombudsman's Office will check possible violations of the rights of military personnel in the 425th separate assault regiment "Skelya". This was reported by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets on Telegram, writes UNN.
I received information about possible serious violations of the rights of military personnel in the 425th separate assault regiment "Skelya". It concerns reports of alleged use of torture, arrangement of places of detention, and driving current military personnel to suicide
Lubinets says he appealed to the State Bureau of Investigation and the Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office with a demand to conduct a full, objective, and impartial investigation.
Lubinets also added that he held a working meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.
