The situation with the Russian military contingent on the territory of Belarus has not changed for March 2024.
The following Russian military forces continue to be stationed on the territory of the Republic of Belarus in the same locations and in the same numbers:
- 500-600 people in the area of Baranovichi, Mozyr ("Bokov") and Zyabrovka airfields.
- Up to 1,450 people, - the Baranovichi radio-technical unit and the 43rd communication unit Vileika."
- The number of Russian military stationed in Belarus ≈2000 people, writes "Belaruski Gayun".

The monitoring channel also reports that in March, Russian airplanes arrived in Belarus at the following airports and airfields:
"Machulishchi" - Tu-154, Il-76 and An-26KPA(ASLC);
"Baranovichi" - An-12, An-26 and 3 units of An-124;
Minsk National Airport - Tu-134AK;
Gomel Airport - 1 An-12.
The arrivals of not all the listed planes were related to military purposes, says "Belaruski Gayun".
For example, An-124 aircrafts, which flew to the airfield "Baranovichi", could deliver MiG-29 fighters of the Algerian Air Force for repair (modernization), and the airfield calibrator An-26KPA(ASLK) of the Air Force of the Russian Federation from March 15 to 22 was checking radio technical systems and flew to the airport "Gomel"
