From July 13 to August 21, the Kyiv funicular will not operate due to scheduled maintenance. During this period, technical maintenance and inspection of the main systems will be carried out at the facility. This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration, according to UNN.
From July 13 to August 21, the capital's funicular will be closed for annual scheduled maintenance
In particular, as part of the repair, specialists will repair the machine, compressor and thyristor rooms, inspect the traction cable and contact network; check and partially, if necessary, replace sleepers, update warning markings on staircases, perform painting and metalwork on the body, and partially renew the upholstery of passenger seats.
Before the funicular is put into operation, the cars will undergo static and dynamic tests under load
