The Volyn Regional CCC has started sending summonses to reservists and persons liable for military service by registered mail. The summons is considered served from the date of receipt of the letter, even if the addressee could not receive it.

The Volyn Regional Recruitment and Social Support Center (RSC) has begun sending summonses to reservists and persons liable for military service by mail. The spokeswoman for the regional TCC, Ulyana Kravchuk, told this in a commentary to Suspilne, UNN reports.

Details

The summons to update the data is sent by registered mail to the address indicated by the person liable for military service or to his or her last place of registration.

According to the spokesperson, the day of receipt of the registered letter is the day of delivery of the summons. This will be evidenced by a document from the postal operator.

"Such a summons (sent by registered mail) will be considered duly served even if the addressee could not receive it for some reason," said Kravchuk.

The regional CCC also added that if a person liable for military service does not report to the recruitment center on a certain date after receiving the letter, he or she will face administrative liability. The decision to impose a fine is also sent by registered mail to the district CMCs.
