"We met with a World Bank delegation headed by Executive Director Eugene Ruggenat. We discussed the needs of Ukraine and the priorities of our cooperation. We appreciate the financial assistance of our partners, in particular the US, the EU and the IMF. We are going through this year with confidence. We are working to make the next year just as predictable and stable," Shmyhal wrote on Telegram.

The prime minister emphasized that "confiscation of Russian assets may be an additional factor." "The G7 countries will provide Ukraine with $50 billion through the use of Russian sovereign assets frozen in the West. This is only the first step. Our goal is to confiscate all frozen Russian assets," he said.

"He also spoke about the priorities for rapid recovery. Energy, critical infrastructure, housing reconstruction, demining and support for small and medium-sized businesses. Energy remains a major challenge. I informed about our steps to build a decentralized energy system and work towards increasing electricity imports from the EU," Shmyhal said.

He expressed his gratitude to the World Bank "for its constant support.

"We look forward to continuing to implement our joint projects," the Prime Minister summarized.
