On the night of April 3 and this morning, Russian troops fired 5 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. In particular, they attacked the civilian infrastructure of the regional center with two aircraft bombs. UNN reports this with reference to the Sumy RMA.

Reportedly, Sumy, Khotyn, Krasnopil and Seredyno-Budska communities came under hostile fire. 23 explosions were recorded.
- Sumy community: an air strike (2 CABs) was carried out on Sumy suburban civilian infrastructure.
- Khotyn community: the enemy fired from mortars (10 explosions).
- Krasnopilska community: a KAB air strike was recorded (3 explosions).
- Seredina-Buda community: 8 mines dropped by Russians on the territory of the community.
The situation on the border of Sumy region remains unchangedly difficult. The Russian army continues to shell the areas close to the administrative border, although this week the intensity has slightly decreased.
