Russian troops continue to shell Donetsk region in three directions, at least 13 settlements are under enemy fire, there are damaged residential buildings, said on Thursday the acting head of the Donetsk regional military administration Igor Moroz, UNN reports.

According to Moroz, the situation in the region as of the morning of December 28 is as follows:
- In the Donetsk sector, 1 person was wounded in Avdiivka. A house in Krasnohorivka was damaged in Maryinka community, Kostyantynivka and Yelizavetivka were shelled. In Kurakhove, an industrial area was hit.
- In the Horlivka sector, 4 houses were damaged in Toretske community: 2 in Zalizne, 1 in New York and Toretsk. In Chasovoyarsk community, 5 private houses were damaged.
- In the Lysychansk sector, 1 person was wounded in Pereyizne of Zvanivka community. Three streets in Serebryanka of the Siverska community were shelled. Torske and Zarichne in the Liman community are under fire.
