However, in its message, russian propaganda uses incorrect information about the city of Rivne, calling it the Volyn (not Rivne) Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
It is also important to note that the fake is based on outdated and irrelevant information dated May 2023, while pro-kremlin sources are trying to present it as relevant as of March 2024.
As for the photo used in the "news", the picture was taken during the garbage crisis in Lviv in 2017, and not in Volyn, as russian propaganda tries to claim.
