Russian troops attacked the border of Chernihiv region with drones and mortars yesterday, causing 28 explosions and damaging a private house, the operational command "North" reported on Friday, UNN reports.

In Chernihiv region, shelling was reported in three communities:
- Semenivka community: Medvedivka - 2 explosions, possibly from a 120-mm mortar. Halahanivka - 1 explosion, possibly from an unidentified drone. Leonivka - 1 explosion, possibly from an unidentified drone.
- Snova community: Kliusy - 8 explosions, probably 82 mm mortar. Khrinivka - 10 explosions, probably 120 mm mortar.
- Horodnyanska community: Hremyach - 4 explosions, possibly from a 120 mm mortar. Krasniy Khutir - 1 explosion, probably a UAV drone. The shelling damaged a private house.
In total, 39 attacks (113 explosions) from various types of weapons were registered in the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions over the last day.
