In Kharkiv region, on August 20, one person was killed and two others were injured in hostile shelling . Russian army strikes were recorded in Kupyansk, Izyum and Kharkiv districts. This was reported on Wednesday by the head of the RMA Oleg Sinegubov, UNN reports.
According to Sinegubov, the Russian army shelled the area over the past day:
- 16:45 Kupyansk district, Kindrashivka TG, Nechvolodivka village. As a result of the shelling of a civilian enterprise, plastic pipes and firewood were burning.
- 16:30 Izium district, Borivska TG, Novyi Myr village, outside. As a result of the shelling the grass was burning in the open area.
- 14:18 Kupyansk district, Kindrashivka TG, Nechvolodivka village. A private house, an outbuilding and a truck burned down as a result of shelling from an MLRS.
- 11:30 Izium district, Borivska TG, Hlushchenkove village. As a result of the shelling 2 non-residential buildings and grass on the open territory on the area of 2.5 hectares were burning.
- 10:50 Kharkiv district, Dergachivska TG, Kozacha Lopan village. A 61-year-old man was injured when a drone hit a civilian car, and a 65-year-old driver was killed.
- 09:50 м. Kupyansk. A 59-year-old woman was injured as a result of the shelling.
- 09:45 Kupyansk district, Kurylivka TG, Kurylivka village, SE Kupyansk forestry. As a result of the shelling, coniferous litter burned on the area of 500 square meters.
