Today, on July 12, a requiem ceremony was held at the Okhmatdyt children's hospital for those killed in the Russian missile strike that took place on July 8. UNN writes with reference to Suspilne.
The head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine announced that today a prayer will be held for the souls of those killed in the rocket attack.
"This is a tragedy for the Ukrainian people. The enemy is terrorizing us, trying to break us, having no real success at the front. We are united and will rebuild what we have lost," said Metropolitan Epifaniy.
The requiem was performed by the Kyiv Classical Chamber Orchestra under the direction of its chief conductor, Herman Makarenko. He recalled that the orchestra had performed here before, during the construction of one of the hospital's buildings.
"We honor the memory of those who are no longer with us. At the same time, we thank the team, these heroes who treat not only during the war. We say that we are unbreakable," said the conductor.

"Early next week, Okhmatdyt plans to select a construction company to eliminate all the consequences of the terrorist attack in Russia. More than UAH 800 million has been donated by philanthropists . Together with the state funds, this resource will be used to eliminate the consequences of the attack in the first building. In particular, it will be spent on the damaged equipment.
