The repair of the "road of life" on the route Izmail - Kilia is at the final stage. This is reported by the Odesa Regional State Administration, UNN reports.

We are talking about the T-16-07 road. For years, people have been complaining about the terrible condition of the road, writing letters and appeals. Until 2024, it was virtually impassable. Despite the war and difficulties, the regional authorities began patching the road.
The renewed road will provide:
- Speeding up logistics: shortening the route between Izmail and Kilia from 130 km to 45 km.
- Quick access for emergency services.
- More convenient transportation of children to educational institutions.
- Saving resources - time and fuel.
"We have inspected the progress of the work, talked to local residents, listened to complaints and suggestions, and we will continue to work.
The estimated completion date of the repair works under favorable conditions is April 2025," commented Oleh Kiper, Head of Odesa Regional State Administration.
