Poland is introducing new requirements for international road transportation through its territory, the violation of which may result in a fine, the State Customs Service said on Thursday, UNN reports.

Details

As reported, as part of Poland's new requirements, starting from November 1, 2024, drivers must carry a unique registration number of the notification to the Register of International Road Transport (RMPD) in the electronic transport surveillance system (SENT) or a document replacing it.

In addition, during transportation, you must ensure that the vehicle's geolocation data is transmitted and that the locator is turned on before the start of transportation. If the locator malfunctions for more than one hour, the driver must stop at the nearest parking lot.

"Violation of the new requirements will result in a fine of PLN 1,500 to 12,000, depending on the violation that was committed," the State Customs Service said.

Drivers were urged to take these innovations into account when crossing the border.
