In recent days, about 70 thousand people have crossed the border with Ukraine, which signals a decrease in passenger traffic at the border compared to previous periods. This was stated by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, during a telethon on Thursday, UNN reports.

"As of now, the passenger traffic has slightly decreased, because in fact, about 70 thousand people cross the border on weekdays. On weekends, it is somewhat higher and can fluctuate at the level of 80-85 thousand, but it is declining compared to previous periods. At present, we also do not record a preference for leaving Ukraine, just as there is no preference for entering Ukraine. In fact, the percentage of passenger traffic fluctuates 50/50," said Demchenko.
He noted that, for example, 71 thousand people crossed the border over the past day. Also, traffic is moving freely, both to and from Ukraine.
