There was a rotation in the Black Sea. A Russian submarine that had previously been in the Black Sea returned to the Novorossiysk basing point. It was replaced by a similar boat. This was announced by the spokesman of the Ukrainian Navy Dmytro Pletenchuk during a telethon, according to a correspondent of UNN.
"As for the Black Sea, there was a rotation there. The submarine that was previously in the Black Sea returned to the Novorossiysk basing point. It has been replaced by a similar submarine of the same project, the 636th, and it is now on duty. That is, there is only one such submarine in the Black Sea," Pletenchuk said.
According to him, he is there more for combat duty than for use.
"This is now extremely rare and extremely unfortunate," Pletenchuk said.
