There is not a single country in the European Union that does not want to see Ukraine join the EU. There is only Hungary, which wants a slower accession process and to study the consequences of Ukraine's accession more carefully. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba during a telethon on Tuesday, a correspondent of UNN reports.
Kuleba noted that two huge diplomatic battles are currently underway.
"We have two huge diplomatic battles going on right now. The president is in the United States, I am in Brussels - we are doing this in order to make the decisions necessary for Ukraine," Kuleba said.
He also commented on his conversation with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto yesterday.
As for the situation in Brussels, there is not a single country in the EU that does not want to see Ukraine as part of the European Union. There is only one country that wants a slower accession process and to study the consequences of this accession more carefully - Hungary. But yesterday, as a result of my long conversation with Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjarto, the threat that Hungary is basically against Ukraine's membership in the EU has been removed."Kuleba said.
