Naftogaz Group is ready to buy the entire volume of gas that Ukrainian private producers will offer to the market in 2024. The company is convinced that this is a necessary step to support all-Ukrainian production in times of war. This statement was made by Naftogaz Group CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov during a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian production companies, UNN reports.
Amid the war and constant enemy attacks, it is critical for Ukraine to maintain its energy independence and increase its own production. Naftogaz Group is doing everything in its power to do so, and last year we managed to significantly increase our production. But the overall result depends on all companies operating in Ukraine. We understand that production requires investment. Therefore, you need to sell your resources at a competitive price. We are ready to buy it.

Just like last year, the company plans to make all purchases in a transparent manner - through the mechanisms of the Ukrainian Energy Exchange.
In addition to plans for cooperation for 2024, the meeting with representatives of extractive companies also discussed the conditions that the state should create to support Ukrainian production. In particular, an important issue for domestic companies is the timely and transparent obtaining of special mining permits and other procedural issues.
