The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) has found signs of declaring false information by a member of the Ukrainian parliament worth more than UAH 5.8 million. These facts were established based on the results of a full audit of his declaration for 2021, UNN reports with reference to the NACP.
According to the Agency, the MP failed to disclose information about his financial obligation arising from the conclusion of a contract for the sale and purchase of corporate rights for UAH 4.8 million, as well as a one-time expenditure of UAH 500 thousand as payment for accommodation in a hotel apartment in the Maldives.
In addition, discrepancies were found between the amount of actual one-time expenses made to repay its existing liabilities by more than UAH 400 thousand.
Based on the results of the audit, the NACP drew up a substantiated conclusion under Part 2 of Art. 366-2 of the Criminal Code (entering knowingly false information in the declaration).
Following the review of the substantiated opinion, the Prosecutor General initiated criminal proceedings. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.

And although the NACP's report does not mention the MP's name. The Agency's website contains information on the verification of Oleksandr Feldman's declaration. In of the reference, there is a mention of inaccurate information worth UAH 5.8 million.

The NACP completed 206 inspections in the first half of 2024 under the new risk-based approach. It found inaccurate information worth almost UAH 664 million, unjustified assets worth UAH 14.4 million, and signs of illicit enrichment worth UAH 38.3 million. 84 substantiated conclusions were sent to the competent authorities and 4 materials - to the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
