In the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained a man suspected of murdering a Kyiv resident. This was reported by the Kyiv Police, according to UNN.

It was established that the incident occurred today on Boryspilska Street, where a conflict arose between two men. During the fight, one of them shot the other in the head. The victim died at the scene from his wounds.
Witnesses described the attacker, and thanks to the prompt actions of the patrol police, the attacker was detained near the crime scene. He was a 61-year-old local resident.
Investigators seized from the detainee a suspected gun used during the crime. The investigation is ongoing.
Criminal proceedings have been opened over this fact, and the sanction of this article provides for up to 15 years in prison.
