Almost UAH 25 million of Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC was appropriated by directors of two private production companies suspected of fraud with reinforced concrete slabs. UNN reports with reference to the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.

Almost UAH 25 million was misappropriated from Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC during the supply of low-quality concrete slabs: two directors of private companies were served with a notice of suspicion.
It was established that in the period of 2022-2023, the directors of two production private companies signed contracts with JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya for the supply of reinforced concrete slabs.
According to the prosecutors, the stoves did not meet the requirements - they were of inadequate quality, contrary to the terms of the contracts and the State Standards of Ukraine and cost half as much as those required for the activities of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya.
As a result, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya incurred losses in the amount of UAH 2.2 million and UAH 22.4 million, respectively.
As for the suspects: the issue of choosing a measure of restraint is currently being decided.
It is about providing a legal assessment of the actions of Ukrgasvydobuvannya employees responsible for accepting the ordered stoves.

The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 7 to 12 years with disqualification to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years and confiscation of property.
