Kyiv region received an additional subvention of UAH 50.7 million from the state budget to purchase housing for veterans. With these funds, 22 more heroes who have survived severe trials will be able to buy their own homes. This was stated by Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of the Kyiv RMA, UNN reports.

Among them are 19 people with disabilities of groups I-II, as well as 3 combatants who are internally displaced persons.
"In 2024, the state made a significant step in supporting our Defenders by allocating funds to improve their living conditions. In total, thanks to this initiative of the President of Ukraine, Kyiv region has received more than UAH 1.155 billion this year to purchase housing for 497 veterans and their families. We continue to work to ensure that every veteran receives proper support. This is our duty to those who defend our independence and ensure our peaceful future," said the Head of Kyiv RMA.

Kyiv region is planning to implement a large-scale program to support war veterans and military personnel. In 2024, the region received funds for 478 apartments and is developing a network of veterans' hubs.
