The incident occurred around 15:00 Kyiv time. Three men, according to police, used a grenade. As a result, two of them were injured and hospitalized.
According to police, one of the attackers continued to stand in front of the police station for some time. Law enforcement officers began work to neutralize him.
The special forces of the Armenian National Security Service arrived at the district police station. The negotiations with the armed man lasted more than two hours. The negotiations were personally conducted by Police Chief Aram Hovhannisyan and Chief of the Criminal Police Vardan Vardanyan.

The incident took place in the northern part of Yerevan in the Nor Nork neighborhood. It is assumed that the attack could have been carried out by members of the "Fighting Brotherhood" organization after more than twenty of their members were detained by police today.

However, according to Narek Sargsyan, a spokesman for the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs, all members of the "Fighting Brotherhood" who were arrested have been released.
