In the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, restrictions have been imposed on the sale of fuel in containers to prevent an artificial shortage. This was reported by the acting governor of the region, Yegor Kovalchuk, as reported by Astra, writes UNN.

According to the official, the region is recording a slight increase in gasoline prices among some network operators, as well as complaints from residents about the operation of local gas stations.

The acting governor also stated difficulties with fuel supply to the border areas of the region.
According to him, the reason was threats of drone strikes on logistics routes.
Kovalchuk added that the regional authorities ordered to check the situation with fuel prices after appeals from local residents.
The restriction specifically concerns the dispensing of fuel into canisters and other containers, while refueling of vehicles continues as usual.
