The tragedy occurred at the regional Golok FA Cup 2026 tournament in Thailand. During the match, the footballer was struck by lightning. As a result, the athlete died at the scene, while nine other players sustained injuries of varying severity.
Those present at the stadium tried to provide the player with first aid before medics arrived, but they were unable to save his life.
The incident was filmed by fans from the stands.
