According to the information, in one of the settlements of Konotop district of Sumy region, a 36-year-old man molested and repeatedly raped the 14-year-old sister of his partner.
The investigation established that the defendant threatened the child to prevent publicity. However, since the victim's mother also lived with her daughters, one day she accidentally witnessed her husband's criminal actions and reported it to the police.
Thus, law enforcement agencies note that the offender faces up to 12 years in prison for the crime.
