The tragedy occurred in the Kharkiv region when the girl was returning from a birthday party, walking with a neighbor. According to the investigation, the guy started hitting on her, and when she refused, he committed a brutal attack. He hit the girl on the head, tried to strangle her, and raped her in the yard. The suspect then doused her body with diesel fuel and tried to burn it in the garden.
The girl was found alive, but despite all the efforts of doctors, she died in the hospital after 10 days of fighting for her life.
