According to to the National Police, the incident occurred in the summer of 2021 on the territory of an entertainment complex in the Saltiv district. Law enforcement officers found that the woman brought her two children to the entertainment complex - 6 and 13-year-old boys.

When mother and her eldest son left the aqua zone, the younger child fell into the the pool and was unable to get out on his own. The boy was taken to the hospital, where he died.

According to the articles, the owner of the pool, due to negligence, faces 5 to 10 years in prison with the deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years
