All tourists are prohibited from climbing Mount Pip Ivan, Mount Brebeneskul, and more than 20 other hiking trails. The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS) has announced the introduction of temporary restrictions within the Zelenska and Biloberetska united territorial communities of Verkhovyna district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Additional temporary regime restrictions related to the strengthening of the border regime are prohibited:
- Entry of persons into the designated five-kilometer-wide border strip, including for tourism, recreation, fishing, except for: persons permanently or temporarily residing or working within it, provided they have the appropriate permit issued by the border guard detachment; owners of land plots located within the strip, provided they have the appropriate permit issued by the border guard detachment.
- Visit the following tourist routes within Ivano-Frankivsk region: Pohorilets, Hajyna, Podorovaty, Hungarian Rocks, Krynta, Lukovytsia, Shyroka and Vesnerka meadows, Chavchyn, Smotryn, Vuhaty Kamen, Pip Ivan, Berebenskul mountains, Pozhyzhevska Mergul, Turkul, Mala Hoverla, Berskul, Kostrych, Yavirnyk, Popadia, Masnyi Pryslip, Goichna, Dukonya, Pniyev, Lake Marichayka and Kryvopilsky Pass.
- Congestion of vehicles (more than two), prolonged stops of vehicles (longer than 20 minutes) not related to technical malfunctions on roadsides outside of established parking lots (except for vehicles driven by local residents if they have documents confirming their registration).
