The plane crash occurred on Sunday around 11:00 a.m. near the city of Nancy. According to the prefect of the Meurthe-et-Moselle region, Yves Seguy, the plane "suddenly fell" near the airfield. No one on the ground was injured.
Rescue services worked at the scene, and psychological assistance was provided to the relatives of the victims. Law enforcement officers and investigators are determining the causes of the plane crash and interviewing witnesses.
