In March, 6 new categories were added to "Diia", according to which Ukrainians can submit applications to the International Register of Damages. In 2025, all 45 categories of the International Register of Damages will appear in "Diia". This was announced by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on the air of the telethon, reports UNN.
I would like to remind you that we previously launched the possibility to submit an application to the International Register of Damages through "Diia". Some categories are already available. One of them is if your property is damaged or destroyed, you can report it to the register, transfer information through "Diia", and this is an additional international pressure on the aggressor country for the damages they cause to our country and citizens. Now we have opened 6 more new categories. These include forced internal displacement, serious bodily injury, sexual violence, torture, inhuman or degrading treatment, deprivation of liberty, forced labor or service.
He noted that today more than 20,000 applications have already been submitted through the register, but the opening of each new category is an opportunity to expand the number of applications.
More on damaged, destroyed property, but in general this year we plan to open all 45 categories
Reminder
