The DobroDiy Charity Exchange is now 10 years old. During this time, the amount of assistance provided by philanthropists amounted to almost 160 million hryvnias. This was reported by the co-founder of the Exchange Olena Sosiedka, UNN reports.
Over the past 10 years, we have been helping the army, seriously ill children, medical institutions, supporting social and cultural projects - helping all those who needed it. In total, DobroDiy has provided assistance worth more than UAH 159 million
According to the Charity Marketplace, over 10 years of their work, they have received assistance:
- Ukrainian Defense Forces - UAH 91 million,
- Seriously ill children - UAH 39.4 million,
- Basic medical facilities - UAH 14.5 million,
- Recipients of humanitarian aid - UAH 13.3 million,
- Social initiatives and cultural projects - UAH 0.8 million.
All of this would not have been possible without our friends, partners, benefactors and patrons, as well as our founders Olena and Yulia. Your faith in our mission keeps the DobroDiy ship afloat. We respond to modern challenges, adapt and transform to make doing good even more accessible and effective
Olena Sosiedka also said that instead of celebrating its birthday, the Exchange is launching a flash mob #DoingDobro.
Instead of loud celebrations, we are launching a flash mob #DoingDobro. Because we want to share our anniversary with people who are close to us mentally, spiritually and ideologically, and to hear your voices and true stories
She called for stories of good deeds, both big and small, that responded to the challenges of war and helped keep hope alive in the most difficult times.
