Great Britain and the European Union have agreed on Britain's accession to the Erasmus+ program from 2027, which will open up opportunities for studying and internships abroad for young people from various social backgrounds. This is reported by UNN with reference to GOV.UK.
The agreement provides for the UK's participation in the Erasmus+ program from 2027. The program covers opportunities for young people from various backgrounds, students, educational, youth and sports workers to study and intern in European institutions and companies. In the first year alone, more than 100,000 people in the UK will be able to benefit from it.

The UK has agreed on the financial terms of participation in Erasmus+, which include a 30% discount compared to standard terms. The country's contribution in 2027 will be approximately £570 million and will cover the 2027-2028 academic year.
The UK government announced that a national agency will administer Erasmus+ and prepare a separate website with detailed information before the program starts.
