The deputy chairman of the Zaporizhzhia regional council, who was caught giving a bribe of more than UAH 650 thousand for medical procurement, has been removed from office. UNN reports this with reference to the press service of the SAPO.
As UNN has learned from its own sources, this is the deputy head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council Vladislav Kutsenko.
On April 25, 2024, at the request of the SAPO and the NABU, the HACC investigating judge removed from office the Deputy Chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council (who is also a deputy of the regional council), who was caught together with other persons in providing more than UAH 650 thousand of undue advantage to one of the directors of a health care facility for assisting in the victory of predetermined business entities in medical procurement, as well as for other financial transactions by the said health care facility in the interests of financial institutions
As noted, the deputy head of the regional council was suspended for 1 month.
The investigation documented four cases of transfer of funds by the deputy chairman of the Zaporizhzhia regional council, his assistant and a deputy of the said council, totaling more than UAH 650 thousand.
The actions of the suspects are classified under Part 4 Art. 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
