Fragments that appear to be from an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) were found in an agricultural area on the Big Island of Brăilei on the Danube River on March 28, Romania's Ministry of National Defense said on Friday, UNN reports.

"Fragments that appear to have originated from an unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) were found in an agricultural area on the Grand Isle of Braila on March 28, 2024," the report said.
The Ministry of National Defense of Romania, as indicated, is investigating the incident together with specialized structures of the national defense, public order and national security system on March 29, 2024, in accordance with specific operational procedures.

On the night of March 29, 2024, the Russian army carried out a powerful missile and air strike "on the facilities of the fuel and energy sector of Ukraine, using various types of missiles and attack UAVs: a total of 99 air attack vehicles", including drones. 84 air targets, including 58 Shahed drones and 26 missiles, were destroyed.
