Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv RMA, took part in a meeting with the heads of regional military administrations chaired by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, UNN reports.
"We discussed the most pressing issues that require us to respond quickly and comprehensively to ensure the safety and well-being of people. The priority is to strengthen the defense capability of the regions, effective security measures, and the construction of fortifications. I reported to the head of state on the specific measures we are implementing in the Kyiv region," Ruslan Kravchenko wrote on his Facebook page .
Another important issue discussed during the meeting was the difficult situation in the energy sector due to constant Russian attacks.
"All communities today realize that the heating season will be extremely difficult. Therefore, together with the central authorities, we are already working to provide people with light, heat and water as much as possible. And to ensure that the distribution of resource consumption is fair for everyone," emphasized the head of RMA.
Particular attention was paid to the construction of shelters and improving the quality of medical and educational services. Our international partners, in particular the United States, are ready to provide significant assistance in implementing a number of projects. The Head of State instructed the heads of all RMAs to cooperate more actively with the US states.
Ruslan Kravchenko reminded that Kyiv region already has two Memorandums of Understanding with the US states.
"I signed a memorandum with the state of Washington with my American counterpart Jay Inslee in the spring of this year. A memorandum with Utah was signed a few days ago by Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his official visit to the United States," Ruslan Kravchenko noted.
He added that there are already developments that will be implemented. "We are working together for the sake of Ukraine's victory, the well-being of the residents of Kyiv and all other regions," the head of the CRMA emphasized.
