A tax official in Cherkasy region has been notified of suspicion for concealing cars worth over UAH 7 million, UNN reports with reference to the Prosecutor General's Office.
Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors of the Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office, on December 15, the chief state inspector of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Cherkasy region was notified of suspicion of intentionally entering inaccurate information into the declaration of a person authorized to perform state functions (Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation established that the suspect, holding the position of head of one of the departments of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Cherkasy region, submitted an annual declaration for 2022 with inaccurate information.
In particular, she did not indicate the property belonging to her husband - five cars with a total value of over UAH 7 million, which, in accordance with the requirements of the law, were subject to mandatory declaration, the Prosecutor General's Office summarized.
