The first level of danger has been declared in the capital due to wind gusts of 15-20 m/s. KCSA has provided weather safety recommendations and a weather forecast for the coming days.

On Saturday, November 2, strong wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are expected in Kyiv, and the first level of danger has been declared. This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration with reference to the Ukrainian Weather Center, UNN reports.

According to weather forecasters, November 3 will be cloudy with clearings and no precipitation. Northwest wind, 7-12 m/s.

The temperature in Kyiv will be 1-3°C at night and 5-7°C during the day.

KCSA reminded the main recommendations that should be followed during high winds:

  • close all house windows tightly, remove objects from unglazed balconies and loggias that could fall out;
  • keep away from billboards, power lines, trees, and do not park vehicles near them;
  • if necessary, hide in the nearest room or natural shelter.
