On the night of August 20, the enemy attacked an industrial facility in Ternopil, causing a fire. All services required to extinguish the fire were quickly dispatched to the scene. Fortunately, no one was injured, stated Viktor Ustenko, Deputy Head of Ternopil RMA.
The head of the State Emergency Service in Ternopil region, Viktor Masley, said that as a result of an enemy attack around 3 a.m., fuel and lubricants caught fire at an industrial enterprise. The fire was localized at 6:50 a.m.
Throughout the day, experts have been measuring air and water quality in the Ternopil region. So far, experts have found chlorine levels 4 to 10 times higher than normal due to the fuel and lubricant fire. The situation remains under control, says Oksana Chaichuk, Director General of the Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.
