The Government of Finland will allocate an additional 40 million euros to Ukraine for the PURL initiative, through which NATO countries purchase American weapons for Ukraine. This was reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, as conveyed by UNN.

"I am grateful to the Government of Finland and personally to Prime Minister Petteri Orpo for the decision to allocate an additional 40 million euros for the PURL initiative, through which NATO countries purchase American weapons for Ukraine," Svyrydenko wrote.
According to her, these funds will strengthen Ukrainian air defense, and accordingly, will allow protecting people from criminal Russian attacks, including ballistic ones.
"Finland has been by Ukraine's side since the first day of the full-scale invasion. Thank you for your consistency and true partnership," Svyrydenko added.
