The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official hryvnia exchange rate at 39.6702 UAH/USD, which devalued the hryvnia by 20 kopecks, UNN reports with reference to the NBU.

The official dollar exchange rate is 39.67 UAH/USD. The NBU has also set the official euro to hryvnia exchange rate at 42.52 UAH/€.
According to the data on specialized websites, as of 9:15 am:
- The dollar can be bought for UAH 39.90 and sold for UAH 39.45 in banks.
- Euros can be bought for UAH 42.95 and sold for UAH 42.30 in banks.
- In exchange offices, the dollar is traded at UAH 39.77-39.90, and the euro at UAH 42.80-42.95.
- On the interbank market, the exchange rates are UAH 39.52-39.57 for the dollar and UAH 42.29-42.32 for the euro, respectively.

Ukraine has received 1.5 billion euros from the EU. The funds will be used to finance the budget deficit. In total, by the end of the year, subject to fulfillment of obligations, the total amount of EU assistance will reach EUR 16 billion.
